She perfers Mcchickens ( no mayo, add ranch sauce)

Chicken because its better for you that a greasy meat patty

3) Grilled or crispy chicken?
Crispy, even though its not the best for you but its tasty and the grilled chicken is flimsy and squishy sometimes.

4) Dollar menu or regular menu?
the regular menu because the regular is taster and not as cheap and crappy tasting.

No way, selects are where its at! Selects is a real crisoy chicken tender yumm.

Salads because I can add chicken to it and eat it with my favorite dressing, im not big on tortilla bread.

7) Yogart parfaits or apple dippers?
Apples Im not a fan of yogart or the texture of it. Apples are juicy.

8) Soda or poweraid?
Poweraid is more nuterious and has electrolytes in it and soda is sugery and bad for you.

9) Lemonade slushies or smoothies?
Lemonade slushies have a tangy taste that I love.

10) Fries or Pies?

In 1954, Ray Kroc mortgaged his home and invested his entire life savings to become the exclusive distributor of the Multimixer, a milk-shake maker. When the 52-year-old heard that the McDonald's hamburger stand in California was running eight Multimixers at a time, he paid them a visit and pitched the idea of opening up several restaurants to the owners, Dick and Mac McDonald, hoping to sell eight of his Multimixers to each one. They struck a different deal, and Ray Kroc opened the first McDonald’s restaurant in 1955. In 1965 McDonald's went public and today is the leading global foodservice retailer with more than 30,000 restaurants, located in more than 100 countries.

Background and Benefits

Who doesn’t know the menu by heart and every jingle ever written? The business model works, and with national and international advertising, McDonald’s Corporation manages to serve 27 million Americans everyday. But while owning a McDonald's restaurant is a tremendous opportunity, the company is seeking individuals with significant business experience who have successfully owned or managed multiple business units and have significant financial resources. McDonald's Corporation claims they are about growing business, making money, and having fun, and only the serious entrepreneur need apply.

How Much does a McDonald's Franchise Cost?

It takes a lot of potatoes to make these fries so come prepared. You will need a minimum of $300,000 in non-borrowed, personal resources to be considered for a franchise. Most Owner/Operators enter the System by purchasing an existing restaurant directly from McDonald’s or from a McDonald's Owner/Operator. A small number of new operators choose to purchase a new facility, but that requires an initial down payment of 40% as opposed to 25% for an existing restaurant. Intensive training addresses all aspects of operating a McDonald's restaurant. While McDonald’s does not offer financing, McDonald’s Owner/Operators have access to the company’s established lender relationships with some of the lowest lending rates in the industry.

What We Like

McDonald’s provides hands on training and the materials you need to become a success. With world-class training, world-class service, world-class support, and unsurpassed name recognition, McDonald’s is a sure winner for franchisees seeking a serious “all-in” franchising opportunity with guaranteed community presence and predictable profits. All this and they still serve a shake so thick you need a spoon.

Are'nt gas prices getting more and more ridiculous? I think so! Gas prices go up rapidly all the time but in these times in our recession gas is almost $4.00 a gallon. Its becuse of the War and fights we have with countrys over seas. "But the recent rise in gasoline prices has been primarily driven by unrest in the Middle East, particularly Libya, where protests have diminished crude oil production"
"In 2008, $4 gasoline brought my state to its knees before Wall Street melted down," Barbour said. "We've blown through $3 gasoline all the way to 4."
Barbour said Obama's energy team wouldn't be happy until gas prices reached $9 a gallon.
Barbour is still weighing a presidential campaign and plans to visit Iowa twice this month. Barbour's advisers say he won't make a decision before the Mississippi legislature ends its session in early April and it could be May before he announces a decision.
In the meantime, though, he has honed his criticism of the president, particularly on economic issues. With pocketbook issues poised to dominate the 2012 election, prospective presidential candidates are focusing their messages on Obama's stewardship of the economy and are seeking to cast his re-election as a referendum on the economy and jobs.
"We don't have a $1.5 trillion deficit this year because taxes are too low," said Barbour, a former Republican National Committee chairman who helped the Republican Governors Association make major gains in November's elections as the group's chairman. "It's because we spend too much."
He then turned his criticism to federal spending, a key concern among the conservatives who have great sway in picking their 2012 presidential nominee.
"This administration spent $7 trillion in the first two years and lost 7 million jobs," Barbour said, then joked it was a good thing the government didn't spend $12 trillion to lose 12 million jobs.
"The fact is: a bigger government means a smaller economy," he said.
All of this is none scence! If gas reaches $9 a gallon, thats more then i make in an hour which is $7.25 an hour. Who knows what the world going to come to, the world already messed up enough. I might just beleive the world is going to end in 2012 because by then everyone will be going insane with the little stuff happening like gas prices.

More from China - Sharing ten lessons learned on the road to sustainability
"We are a graduate school of business in China, and enjoyed your presence here recently to speak to both our students and CEO leaders. In particular, because your remarks to the CEO leaders in China were well-received,  I was wondering if you could share them, not only for us in China, who are interested in advancing CSR in the business leadership world, but for all in the broader business community?
-Cody Swyer, Manager, Global Marketing, Cheung Kong Graduate School of Business ?????
My Response:
I have been working in this area for a year, so I have seen the good, the bad the ugly—and learned a lot on the way. Here's my top ten list of observations to pass on based on McDonald's own journey thus far:
LESSON #1:  Create a CSR strategic framework
Lesson 2:  Sustainability isn't an initiative
Lesson 3:  CSR starts at top
Lesson 4:  Aim for the Smart Zone
Lesson 5:  Anticipate and Manage Emerging Issues
Lesson #6:   Manage the open and transparent society.
Lesson #7:   Manage your planet footprint
Lesson #8:  Get engaged; don't operate in an island
Lesson #9:  Managing CSR globally
Lesson #10:  Tell your story, but humbly
