More from China - Sharing ten lessons learned on the road to sustainability
"We are a graduate school of business in China, and enjoyed your presence here recently to speak to both our students and CEO leaders. In particular, because your remarks to the CEO leaders in China were well-received,  I was wondering if you could share them, not only for us in China, who are interested in advancing CSR in the business leadership world, but for all in the broader business community?
-Cody Swyer, Manager, Global Marketing, Cheung Kong Graduate School of Business ?????
My Response:
I have been working in this area for a year, so I have seen the good, the bad the ugly—and learned a lot on the way. Here's my top ten list of observations to pass on based on McDonald's own journey thus far:
LESSON #1:  Create a CSR strategic framework
Lesson 2:  Sustainability isn't an initiative
Lesson 3:  CSR starts at top
Lesson 4:  Aim for the Smart Zone
Lesson 5:  Anticipate and Manage Emerging Issues
Lesson #6:   Manage the open and transparent society.
Lesson #7:   Manage your planet footprint
Lesson #8:  Get engaged; don't operate in an island
Lesson #9:  Managing CSR globally
Lesson #10:  Tell your story, but humbly

Latest Food Style

The latest style of food today is either fast-food or organic. Like, seriously? Organic? Who eats that? But evidentially a lot of people do. People think it’s a healthy eating life style and that’s what people want to be these days are healthy and super skinny!! But then again, many people are very obese from eating fast-food. A lot of people like to eat fast-food because its quick, cheap, delicious and convenient for on the way to work. Not many people these days have time for a home-cooked mean or there are starved and don’t feel like waiting for the healthier foods. But then again some people make time for it because being healthy is important. A lot of people feel like if they eat to much fast-food they will become fat, well that is true. The thing today is SKINNY! No one wants to date a fatty!!!

A hungry stomach rarely despises rough food.

The recipe says it all about your food. McDonalds is one of the biggest fast-food corporate famous for cheesy hot delicious burgers and crunch hot French fries. How we make our food isn’t really a secret if you knew. Nothing is micro waved; it’s all made by hand right then and there. Our stomachs rarely despise food unless it’s disgusting. Otherwise we all love it!! And the food that’s good satisfies our taste buds.

W0RK*~

As you all should know my name is Kristen Pellegrini!!! I work at a 24 hour McDonald’s fast food restaurant in Titusville. McDonalds is always extremely busy because everyone from around the world eats McDonalds. If you ask yourself, are there really a lot of people that don’t like McDonalds? No you know a ton of people that love it. I work at the McDonalds that are right of interstate 95 in Titusville, so we mostly get the hungry travelers. I work all the time I don’t get paid much but I’m getting paid so I’m working there.  McDonalds can be a stressful job because so many people want to get food fast so you have to be fast to work there. I know a lot of secrets about my job, not bad secrets but interesting ones. Like a question I get a lot is, don’t you guys microwave your food? And the answer is NO we made it right then and there. I don’t work with the food I usually take the money and orders. The most irritating thing about working in the food industry is the people, you never know if someone’s going to be super nice or super mean, some people you just can’t please.  And when you’re in window and your handing out the food and there is something wrong with the food like there’s not suppose to be pickle and there was, it’s NOT the person at the windows fault it’s the grills fault ( the people that make the food). It was very hard to find a job because of this economy or being a minor, but then I met one of the managers there and she put in a good word for me and got me the job. Working is a responsibility and you also gain responsibility. Once you have your own money you tend to use it more wisely and treat more things with care.
